DANIEL GELATT is the Chairman of the Board, a position he has held since January, 2000, after joining the Board in September, 1996. He is President of NMT Corporation; The Gelatt Corporation; and Elmwood Corporation. Previously, he served as CEO of Aluminum Mills; a Research Manager at IBM’s TJ. Watson Research Center; an Assistant Professor at Harvard University; and a member of the University of Wisconsin Board of Regents. Mr. Gelatt holds both Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees from the University of Wisconsin – Madison and a Ph. D. from Harvard University. He is active in professional and civic activities in the La Crosse community.

SANDRA CLEARY, CPA has expertise in investment management as the Vice President of Cleary Management Corporation. In addition, Ms. Cleary owns and operates a number of properties and serves as proprietor of the largest western wear and tack retailer in the Tri-State area. Her previous experiences as an Internal Auditor and Cash Manager also lend themselves well to the activities of North Central Trust Company. Ms. Cleary holds a Bachelor’s Degree from Hamline University in St. Paul, Minnesota, and has been a CPA for nearly 20 years.

HARRY J. DAHL is President and Owner of five area businesses, including Dahl Ford Subaru Mitsubishi. He is very active in the La Crosse Family YMCA organization and is the recipient of Ford Motor Company’s “Chairman Award”, the highest national honor a dealer can receive for customer satisfaction. Mr. Dahl holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business from the University of Colorado.

EDWARD J. HENGEL, Jr., CPA is Vice President of Reinhart Companies, a nationally recognized foodservice distributor headquartered in La Crosse, Wisconsin. He has held this position since 1989, having been previously employed as the Assistant Controller. Prior to that, he worked for a large regional Public Accounting firm for three years. Mr. Hengel, Jr., holds a Bachelor’s degree from St. Thomas University, St. Paul Minnesota, and holds a CPA designation.

Since August of 2001, KENT C. HANDEL has served as a Board Member, as well as the President and CEO of North Central Trust Company. He is a graduate of Morningside College in Sioux City, Iowa, with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration. Mr. Handel’s educational background also includes the National Graduate Trust School at Northwestern University in Chicago, Illinois, the National Graduate School of Banking at the University of Wisconsin – Madison in Madison, Wisconsin, and the National Investment School at the University of Oklahoma in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He has more than 24 years of experience in the financial industry, including consumer lending, broker/dealer management, fixed income and equity portfolio management, and trust administration. Prior to joining North Central Trust Company, Mr. Handel worked for Security National Bank for 20 years, serving the last 10 years as Senior Vice President in charge of the organization’s trust and investment functions. As an active member of a number of civic and charitable organizations in the La Crosse area, Mr. Handel offers his professional expertise to the community.

STEPHEN T. HEUSLEIN is President of both La Crosse Truck Center, Inc., and River States NationaLease, Inc., as well as Vice President of River States Truck and Trailer, Inc. A graduate of Carleton College in Northfield, Minnesota, Mr. Heuslein holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics. He is active in a number of civic groups, and former Transportation Committee Chairman of the Greater La Crosse Area Chamber of Commerce.

STEVEN C. MATHY is Vice President of Mathy Construction Company and serves in various leadership roles for trade organizations throughout the Tri-State area. Mr. Mathy holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Engineering from the Purdue University School of Civil Engineering.

JOSEPH S. POEHLING is President of First Supply Group, a regional wholesale distributor of plumbing, HVAC, waterworks, pump and well, builder, and industrial PVF supplies. An active member of Wisconsin and Minnesota communities, Mr. Poehling serves on the Boards of various industry, civic and educational groups. He is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin – Madison with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration.

DUANE W. RING JR. is Vice President of Centurytel's Midwest Region, which includes operations in Iowa, Minnesota, Wisconsin, Michigan, Ohio, Colorado, Montana, Wyoming, Idaho, Nevada, Arizona, and New Mexico. Mr. Ring holds a Bachelors degree in Business Administration from the University of Wisconsin - Eau Claire, where he majored in Management Information Systems. Mr. Ring also holds a Masters of Business Administration degree from the University of Wisconsin - La Crosse. He is also a member of a number of civic and community organizations.
