Profile Portfolios or Funds - Which is Right for Me?

Selecting the proper investment options is an important task, made even more challenging by having a menu of Asset Allocation Profile Portfolios and institutional, no-load mutual funds from which to choose. Both the Profiles and funds have different characteristics, advantages and disadvantages - no one investment type is best for everyone.

Shown below is a comparison between the Moderate Growth Profile and the Fidelity Growth & Income Fund. Of course, different Profiles compared to different funds will produce different comparative data. Also, keep in mind that the information below is subjective and may only apply in some cases. A check mark does not mean that the stated advantage will always apply!
